And no I am not talking about Charlize Theron!! I am talking about my fantasy boo Will Smith. Doesn’t he make such a great accessory?? Theron and Smith were both in attendance for the Japan premiere of Hancock. To date, the superhero flick has brought in over $225 million in the U.S. and Canada.
Back to Smith…It is just something about him…he just oozes with swagger. I need to go and take another shower…

Last night, Will Smith was a guest on the “Colbert Report”. Stephen Colbert asked him if he supports Barack Obama, and Will announced that he secretly wants to play him in a movie of his life.
He is not lying about America’s fetish with his ears (yes, I love a man with nice, round ears)!!
Thanks to Aura over at Wiredset for the info!

In their bid for world domination, Church of L. Ron Hubbard (aka Scientology) is looking to add super celebs Will and Jada Smith and Kimora Lee Simmons.
According to Radar The Church has opened a center in Harlem and is hounding the Smiths in an attempt to add African Americans to its membership,. Will’s reps are denying this claim, but sources of the Smiths says he is interested in becoming a member.

Despite a fervent denial from Smith’s rep—“I can tell you with 100 percent certainty this is not true”—sources close to Smith earlier told this column that the actor definitely is becoming a member of the religion. “He’s been getting more and more involved (in Scientology),” said one source. “And it isn’t just him, it’s definitely Jada, too.”

I can understand the Smiths converting, but Kimora!!
Radar goes on to write that Kimora distributed copies of Hubbard’s The Way To Happiness at her kids’ school (oh with her image featured on the cover). Isn’t that considered tacky??

Could you actively recruit for a church you do not attend…
Will Smith has joined the ranks of Hollywood power players actively recruiting for the Church of Scientology. Smith, who is best buddies with Scientology booster Tom Cruise, has never confirmed that he joined the church. But he told “Access Hollywood” last month: “I was introduced to it by Tom, and I’m a student of world religion. I was raised in a Baptist household. I went to a Catholic school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98% the same ideas of Scientology, 98% the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism.”
After coming off of a high with I Am Legend, Will Smith tackles comedy. In Hancock, Smith portrays an alcoholic superhero of the same name who is a hard living would be savior to L.A. (when he is not drunk).
Hancock hits theaters July 2, 2008 (Will’s money-making month).

Will Smith may have been the only man left on Earth, but he has a lot of friends. In an impressive opening weekend for a Sci-Fi movie, “I Am Legend” debuted with $76.5 million, the biggest December opening and a personal best for Smith.
Look for my review of “I Am Legend” coming soon!

As a Sci Fi nerd, I am so excited about the release of I Am Legend. I came across the interview with Will Smith and director Francis Lawrence on AOL. It is about 10 minuted long, if you want to know some tidbits about Will’s marriage, go to around the 8 minute mark.
