Reports are coming in that Usher has dumped Benny Medina and rehired mom Jonetta Patton as his manager. The split is in direct correlation to disappointing record sales and poor management.

“He’s leaving Benny. The record is pretty stiff, and nowhere nearly as successful as Confessions,” an insider says of the singer’s 2004 blockbuster album.

Confessions was a worldwide sensation, selling 19 million copies under the supervision of Patton. After debuting at No. 1 in June, Here I Stand, Usher’s fifth studio album, has chalked up a relatively paltry 2 million in sales worldwide. This, despite the radio success of the single “Love in This Club (Part II).”

There was no immediate comment from Usher, Patton or Medina.

Usher shows off his son Usher Raymond V for the first time on the August issue of Essence Magazine.

On being a father he says, “He’s gonna admire me, he’s gonna look up to me. He’s gonna say, ‘I wanna be’ or he should say - ‘I wanna be like my father.”

When asked about his marriage to Tameka, Usher responds, “They think that it was forced. I’ve heard a lot of comments like, “Oh, she trapped him.” “He got a baby by her, and then she’s married and she’s set for life.”

No. She wasn’t pregnant when I asked her to marry me. There’s some sort of huge conspiracy over this, the fact that I made these choices in my life. No I grew older. As a man, I have to take responsibility and take a hold of my life. I’m accountable for what happens to my life now.”

Blah, blah, blah that is all I hear coming out your mouth. I am all for black love but if it looks like sh*t, smells like sh*t, then it’s probably sh*t.

With the release of his new CD, Here I Stand, Usher has gotten to be Mister Big Draws. In recent interviews, Usher posed the question: Why ridicule my love life? Usher, sweetums, booby cakes, you are being ridicule because you chose to be with someone that your fans don’t necessarily care for. Here are my 3 4 reasons for ridiculing you.

Get the fugg out of here! Just when I thought it was going to be a sloooowww news day, AllThatsFab (via TheLifeFlies) pimp slaps me with this ish: Usher and Tameka are expecting their second kiddie. Yes, you read right…USHER AND TAMEKA ARE EXPECTING!!!

He has a new album coming out and a hot single getting much radio time, why not cast another line into murse (man purse for those that don’t know).

 I came out from my little break of a day just to post this picture of Usher carrying his little baby boy. Now granted it is not the best, but when you are limited in resources and such, you have to do this best you can!!

I was visiting tmz and came across Usher and Tameka shopping. For Tameka to be a stylist, she sure do love looking frumpy: grey shawl, ugg boots, and jeans.

As we near the release of Usher’s album, I know we will be seeing alot more of the Raymonds.

I knew the moment I go into a self-imposed hiatus, somebody was going to do some ish like this!! Oh well, I have posted, now I am out until tomorrow!!

Usher stopped by MTV’s TRL earlier in the day (4/7) to promote, talk, promote, and talk some more  and in between all that he had some random chile burst into tears. I mean, really, is it that serious to start crying and mess up your makeup, while all this is seen on TV!!!

Usher is in mourning following the death of his father on Friday, January 18.

The “Confessions” singer - full name Usher Raymond IV - is reported to have been by his father Usher Raymond III’s side when he passed away at an Atlanta, Georgia hospital. The cause of death is currently unknown.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Raymond family in their time of sorrow.
