Janet Jackson Headed to Reality TV???

Written by Cassandra on Jun 20th, 2008 | Filed under: Janet Jackson, Tube Talk

The rumors that Ms. Jackson is heading to reality tv via MTV is true! The scoop is that Janet will mentor a group of wannabe singers and dancers while they compete for a chance to tag along on Janet’s fall world tour. The show will have an edgy new twist on the typical reality show, in that it will be filmed on the street rather than on a soundstage.

There is no word as to when the show will air.

‘Discipline’ Promo 1

Last night, LA Reid and Jermaine Dupri held a private party for Janet’s upcoming album, Discipline.  Invited guests were greeted by”Disciplinarians” who with leather straps in one hand, passed out programs with the other.  Attendees listened to such tracks as “Rock With U,” “Feedback,” and “Luv.”  Reviewers liken Discipline to some of her earlier works - “I Get Lonely,” “Rhythm Nation,” and “All for You.”

Here is the promo art for Janet’s single “Feedback.” Her album, Discipline, is slated for a February 26 release.

I am not sure about you but I am really loving her song. She had a rough time with her last effort, 20 Y.O. so please support Janet.

Leaked: Janet Jackson - Feedback

This is the first single off of Janet’s new album, Discipline (slated for a February ‘08 release). This is a great track, the beat is slamming, it is reminiscent of the Rhythm Nation Janet.

Her album will feature the talents of Rodney Jerkins, The Dream, Scott Storch and more. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

UPDATE***Mark S. Allen Apologizes: "I was a jerk"

Written by Cassandra on Oct 18th, 2007 | Filed under: Controversy, Janet Jackson, Tyler Perry

CBS affiliate CW31 has finally issued an on-air apology in response to the barriage of emails and calls that was recieved. Well, to be honest, it was Mark S. Allen who issued the apology and rightfully so!! During a recent interview with Janet Jackson and Tyler Perry, Mr. Allen used a shock-jock approach (befitting of Howard Stern) and repeatedly brought up the Super Bowl situation.
