    Old School Fridays - The Remake

    Through Remy Ma and Papoose Jail Sagas, Suge Knight getting Debo’ed at the club, Diddy and Cassie all hugged up at the park, and other nonsense, we have made it to another Friday. This week’s OSF theme is Remakes. The possibilities are endless and we could be here all day and such (which wouldn’t be kosher at all).  So with that being said, I chose to go with Dorothy Moore’s 1977 classic “Misty Blue” and LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade”

      Great Choices! I posted Monica and MJB remake of Misty Blue a few weeks ago…I love that song!

      Great choices I love Dorothy Moore and I love the remake, HOWEVER to do it live Monica rocked and Mary just sucked. I think Mary totally detracted from the song, to me Monica alone would have killed it! So Dorothy won this battle be default!
      And Patti has NO competition! she is the ultimate Diva! I must say though on the remake I think Pink & Christina did their thing! I don’t like Mya and they could have left Kim outside on the corner…

      While Dorothy Moore’s version is my favorite, Mary singing this song won me over as a fan. Happy OSF.
