Ruby Dee was Robbed

Ruby Dee, the only African American nominated in any Oscar categories lost. I know Ruby was saying in her head “I could have stayed at home if I knew this. Instead I am here, dressed in all this ish, uncomfortable as hell.”
What the hell happened?? Most of these films that are nominated most people have not seen let alone heard of.
