A quadriplegic was dumped to the floor by a deputy. The deputy has been removed from duty. Hopefully this man will get some money from his injuries.
Obama is killing Clinton softly. He has won the Potomac primaries last night and is setting his eyes on Texas. Clinton and Obama will be debating here in Austin February 21 at the University of Texas Recreational Sports Center. The debate will be by invitation only, but if you have $50 extra bucks lying around the house you can attend a watch party sponsored by the Texas Democratic Party. For the $50 entry fee, you get light food and drinks. OR you can stay at home and watch it for free on CNN or Univision.
Off topic (sort of), Tavis Smiley is starting ish. He is upset that Obama will be sending his lovely wife, Michelle, to the State of the Black Union summit. Tavis feels it is ‘inappropriate” for Michelle to attend and that Obama should be at the summit instead of campaigning in Texas. We all know that as of right now, Clinton has the Hispanic vote in Texas. In order for him to win he has to gain the trust and support of Hispanic Texans. Tavis could have rescheduled his conference for a later date. He knows this election is important. It was very poor planning on his and his staff’s part. I really hope this can be resolved soon.
