“Now Yellow Nigga can go get a job sucking fucking Jimmy Iovine since that’s what he was doing anyway…G Unit is over and so is Elliot. If I see him in the streets I’ma put a foot in his ass..I’ma do that for Hip Hop…” -Benzino
“Elliot’s firing signals the end to an old-fashioned way of publishing magazines that is no longer viable, which explains why all of the current monthly mags—from XXL to The Source to Vibe—are struggling in continuing to try to operate in a way that doesn’t work in the new age of media and of hip hop. “ -Dave Mays

Could you actively recruit for a church you do not attend…
Will Smith has joined the ranks of Hollywood power players actively recruiting for the Church of Scientology. Smith, who is best buddies with Scientology booster Tom Cruise, has never confirmed that he joined the church. But he told “Access Hollywood” last month: “I was introduced to it by Tom, and I’m a student of world religion. I was raised in a Baptist household. I went to a Catholic school, but the ideas of the Bible are 98% the same ideas of Scientology, 98% the same ideas of Hinduism and Buddhism.”

I was over @ Mrs. Grapevine and Sincere Thoughts and saw this post about BBR (Black Blogger Rankings). This list is a very helpful tool in knowing where your blog stands in the black blogosphere. Right now I am at #211 out of 651 (not bad, but there is always room for improvement). If you are not on the list, all you have to do is drop them a line. It is that easy. While you are there, check out tips on how to market your blog.
Thanks to Electric Village for putting together the list together.

I am not sure how Sen. Hillary Clinton did it but she did. She was able to pull off a victory tonight. With 80 percent of Democrats precinents reporting, Clinton has 39 percent of the vote to 36 percent for Barack Obama. Former Sen. John Edwards trailed with 17.
In his concession speech, Obama said he will continue fight:
“For most of this campaign we were far behind,” he said. “We always knew that our climb would be steep. … With your voices and your votes you made it clear that at this moment, in this election, there is something happening in America.”
On the Republican side, Sen. John McCain regained his title of “Comeback kid” with his win over Mitt Romney.
“I’m past the age when I can claim the noun ‘kid,’ no matter what adjective precedes it, but tonight we sure showed ‘em what a comeback looks like,” McCain said in his victory speech.
“We celebrate one victory tonight and leave for Michigan to win another.”
As I have said before, I will say again, if you are not keeping up with this election, you should be. This is very important. You may think your vote doesn’t count, but it does. We have the power to make a change, a change for the better.
If you don’t know who is running for President, ask. There are many links devoted to this election, you can hop over to YouTube and watch the debates (they are better than the soaps).
