Video of the Day: Vietnam Intersection

Written by Cassandra on Sep 24th, 2007 | Filed under: Myspace, Videos

This video was shot during a tourist’s visit to Vietnam.

I am amazed and a bit confused on how the drivers manage not colliding into each other. Not sure if it was choreographed or what. Make sure you look closely at the pedestrian (lower right corner) crossing the street.

After watching this video, I will never complain about traffic again.

Thanks Sam for the link!!

The wait is almost over - Halo 3 out tonight

Written by Cassandra on Sep 24th, 2007 | Filed under: games

Tonight is the night when millions will find out what happens to mankind’s silent hero: Master Chief.

If you didn’t plan ahead, there are a couple of good places to try and secure a copy of the game - as long as you don’t have an aversion to lines. Surprisingly enough, even 7-Eleven is one such outlet. A number of stores are going to join the GameStops, Wal-Marts, and Best Buys of the world by holding a midnight launch. Before heading out, call first!!

Hit me up and let me know if Halo 3 was worth the wait.

A Las Vegas judge granted bail of $125,000 today to O.J. Simpson.

Simpson and three co-defendants face a total of 11 charges including kidnapping, armed robbery and assault, that could send the 60-year-old athlete-turned-actor to prison for the rest of his life.

A court spokesman, Michael Sommermeyer, said Simpson would be freed on bail later on Wednesday.

Under the bail conditions, Simpson, who lives in Florida, will have to surrender his passport but will be allowed to travel within the United States.

The next hearing in the case was set for the week of October 22.

Breaking News: Celeb Blitz on BlogRush!!

Written by Cassandra on Sep 19th, 2007 | Filed under: miscellaneous

Just like every other blogger, I want to increase traffic to my blog. In an attempt to do just that, I have decided to give BlogRush a try, hey it is free!! Here is the low-low on BlogRush:

BlogRush is a free service that was created to help bloggers solve their #1 need:More Readers For Their Blog.

By adding the BlogRush Widget to a blog, a blogger can get instant distribution for their latest blog post titles across a network of related blogs.

BlogRush users earn “syndication credits” (the right to have their blog post titles shown inside a widget on another related blog) based on their own traffic (loads of the widget) as well as the traffic of other users they refer to BlogRush. Users can automatically refer others to BlogRush via special links on the widget, as well as through the promotion of a special referral URL they are given.

BlogRush is a “Cooperative Syndication Network” that rewards its users for their contributions to the network — from the impressions they provide of the BlogRush Widget to the referral of other users through 10 ‘generations’ of activity and the impressions of the widget that they provide. BlogRush was designed to be incredibly viral and to provide its users with tremendous distribution leverage to receive exposure for their blog content (onto related content blogs) that they could never achieve on their own; at least without a massive advertising budget.

BlogRush is the brainchild of Internet entrepreneur, John Reese. Mr. Reese is the founder and CEO of Income.com, a soon to be launched social network and media company for entrepreneurs. BlogRush is the first Web property of the Income.com Network, a network of sites and services to help entrepreneurs and business owners succeed. Income.com is based in Orlando, Florida.

Chris Crocker to get his own show

Written by Cassandra on Sep 19th, 2007 | Filed under: Reality TV, Videos

As I was combing the internet, an article on Chris Crocker caught my eye.

The now-famous video blogger has inked a deal to have his own tv show. After much media attention for his ‘Leave Britney Alone’ video, Crocker signed a deal with Blue 44. The plan for the show is for it to be a docusoap built around Crocker.

“Chris first got on our radar a year ago,” said 44 Blue president/co-founder Rasha Drachkovitch, who said he wants to develop a show that plays to Crocker’s strengths.

“It’s going to pretty much be the ‘Chris Crocker experience,’” he said. “We consider him a rebel character that people will find interesting. He’s going to be a TV star.”

In case you missed it, I have included it in this post for your viewing pleasure.

Have you had your daily dose of OJ???

Written by Cassandra on Sep 19th, 2007 | Filed under: Celebrity Justice, O.J. Simpson

This is not looking good at all for O.J. Simpson. Since they couldn’t make a murder rap stick, the law just couldnt wait for O.J. to mess up. Earlier today, he was charged with committing 10 felonies, including kidnapping, in the armed robbery of sports memorabilia collectors.

Simpson, 60, was booked on five felony counts, including suspicion of
assault and robbery with a deadly weapon. District Attorney David Roger filed
those charges and added five other felonies, including kidnapping and conspiracy
to commit kidnapping, according to court documents.

The judge may set the bail at a hearing Wednesday in excess of $1
million because of the kidnapping charges, a local expert told NBC News.

Simpson, accused along with three other men, faces the possibility of
life in prison if convicted in the robbery at the Palace Station casino. He was
being held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. (SOURCE)

In Touch Weekly confirms that after two years of trying, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are finally expecting one - maybe even two - children together!

After years of trying, the couple finally decided to try in vitro fertilization(which could be the reason for the multiples), which was ultimately successful. J. Lo is apparently 12 weeks.
