Lil Wayne ft Kanye West ~ Lollipop (remix)
I am really liking this remix. I just hope Lil Wayne knows what Hewlett Packard is (just like he knows what a koala is –if you read Blender’s June issue then you know what I am talking about). Anyway, listen and let me know your thoughts.

Does Kim P. know about this???
By Cassandra | May 13, 2008

The ‘net was ablaze a couple of weeks ago with pics of Kim P and Diddy together. It was speculated that the twosome were rekindling their love affair. I think these pics of Cassie and Diddy pretty much squash all thoughts, notations, inklings of Porter and Diddy getting back together.

Diddy’s peter weter is goin to fall off.

Sorry, no new updates (yet)
By Cassandra | May 13, 2008
but I will be posting a little less than usual. I have accepted a new job that will require me to be out the house earlier than normal. I will try to update this blog before leaving.
Since starting this blog last April, my goal has always been to “create a welcoming atmosphere that offers quality content to all who visit”. I hope that I have been able to keep inline with this goal.
So I just want to thank you, my readers, admirers, and haters for reading Celeb-Blitz.

I blame her parents
By Cassandra | May 12, 2008

Proms are supposed to be special. They are one of the last memorable moments of high school, but for one girl it was a nightmare. Marshe Taylor (18), of Houston, thought she was making a fashion statement, instead she made a fashion no-no. She was making her way into the prom when she was stopped by a school official. She was told by the official that her custom-made dress was inappropriate for the prom and she could not enter. This led to a confrontation with the official and an escort out in handcuffs.

“I actually like the dress. Everybody else likes my dress,” Taylor said. (SOURCE)
I blame her parents for this. At 18, my mom and dad would NEVER had let me leave the house, hell, I couldnt conceptualize the thought of wearing something this revealing, this skimpy.

Pic of the day: Suge Knight Knockout
By Cassandra | May 12, 2008

I reported yesterday that Suge Knight was knocked out over a money dispute at a LA nightclub and as usually TMZ has the pics. This ish is just too good to be true. TMZ needs to pay the photographer some moolah for these pics…
On a serious note, the guy responsible for KO’ing Suge should have left the country now under an assumed name. Suge is going to be hunting for that a$$.

Suge Got Knocked the F*ck Out!!!
By Cassandra | May 11, 2008

The Intimidator aka Suge Knight was knocked the f*ck out at a LA club recently. Word on the block is that Suge and some of his people had an altercation with an unknown man over some money. The guy was jumped by Knight and his associates but was able to lay a haymaker to Knight resulting in him being unconscious for 3 mintues.
Like my boy EdtheWorldFamous, I am overjoyed that some has bested Knight. I dont like his bullying ways and I bet next time he will think three times before he bullies someone else.
Update: Check under the hood for pics obtained by TMZ right after the incident

I know that she loved me
By Cassandra | May 10, 2008
With this being Mother’s Day eve, I wanted to post about my mother. You see, my mom passed away nearly 4 years ago. I still remember the day she passed: I remember getting ready for work, going to the door and saying “Mom, please hold on, I am coming.” I never got the chance. I received the call that she had passed at 7:35am. My sister was crying uncontrollably and my other sister had to tell me. I remember stopping on the side of the highway during morning rush hour in disbelief. It felt as if a huge chunk of my soul was snatched and I couldn’t report it missing. As time goes on, it is getting harder and harder for me to remember the sound of her voice or what she smelled like, but there is one thing that is constant: I know that she loved me. There are some things that I wish I could talk to my mom about, like being a new mom, telling her I got a promotion at my job. She never got the chance to visit my house (I was in the process of buying it when she became ill).
It is true that you are not a woman until your mother has passed away. This is when you have to really apply the teachings. This is when everything becomes crystal clear.

Mary J starts foundation to help women develop careers
By Cassandra | May 10, 2008

From Access Hollywood:
NEW YORK, NY –
The queen of hip-hop soul is establishing a foundation to help women develop careers and gain self-confidence.
Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute, who founded a youth-oriented brand consulting firm, say they’re setting up the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now [FAWN].
The foundation will concentrate first on the Yonkers, New York, area where the 37-year-old Blige grew up. The charity will fund scholarships, grants and programs that help women gain confidence and skills to succeed in their careers.
Blige and Stoute say they expect to expand to the New York metropolitan area and then the nation.
I love to see when stars give back to the community (when it is not court enforced).

By Cassandra | May 10, 2008
Teairra Mari sits down with the ever “splendiferous” B. Scott to discuss Jay-Z, Roc-A-Fella, and Rihanna. I am just going to say this now…I love B. Scott’s hair and I want to know what products he use.
